Loud, Proud, and Full of Bubbles: GRACE Brings the Energy to Kirkintilloch Gala Day!

KIRKINTILLOCH — The annual Kirkintilloch Gala Day is always a highlight for the local community, but this year, the team from GRACE (Group Recovery Aftercare Community Enterprise) made sure it was absolutely unforgettable.

Bringing an incredible wave of colour, noise, and sheer joy to the streets, the local peer-led charity took part in the traditional parade, marching from the library all the way to the leisure centre. Armed with whistles, music, bubble guns, and plenty of dancing, GRACE members and volunteers showed the town the true spirit of their community: fun, resilient, and deeply connected.

Showcasing Local Talent for a Great Cause

Once the parade wrapped up and the festivities moved to the main grounds, GRACE set up a bustling community stall. The stall gave locals a chance to check out and buy beautiful, hand-crafted items directly created by members of the charity’s Jewellery Project and Pins & Needles Project as well as a chocolate filled Tombola
