Huge congratulations are in order! The GRACE (Group Recovery Aftercare Community Enterprise) team did an incredible job at the Glasgow Kiltwalk this past weekend.
As the sun finally made an appearance over Glasgow on Sunday, April 26th, our team joined a record-breaking sea of tartan to trek from Loch Lomond Shores to Balloch. It was a day filled with community spirit, sore feet, and massive smiles—all for a vital cause.
🎉 Mission Accomplished!
We are so proud of every single walker who laced up their boots and donned their kilts to support GRACE. Your steps are helping us continue our mission of “People Supporting People”—providing essential recovery aftercare and community support across Scotland.
The 2026 Glasgow Kiltwalk by the Numbers:
-
20,000+ total walkers across the weekend.
-
£4 Million+ raised for over 1,000 Scottish charities (and counting!).
-
100% of your donations go directly to GRACE, thanks to the incredible support of The Hunter Foundation.
A Massive Thank You
To our walkers, our donors, and the organizers at Kiltwalk: Thank you. The atmosphere at the finish line in Balloch was electric, and seeing the GRACE team cross that line together was a highlight of our year.
The funds raised will go directly toward our peer-led support services, creative workshops, and recovery groups that make a real difference in people’s lives every single day.
“You good folks got out of your beds this morning to be part of something that has become a fantastic movement for Scotland. You’re here because… you’ve chosen to help.” — Sir Tom Hunter, addressing the walkers at Glasgow Green.
