The Rotary Club Kirkintilloch donated warm jackets and other items to GRACE at Hillhead Community Centre to be offered free of charge to the community.
GRACE members and volunteers prepared the jackets on rails and tables daily for the community to come and help themselves. Clothes rails had to be borrowed to display further donations being received from people looking to help support the project. A clothes rail is now available daily next to the daily foodshare donatiomse to accommodate a few jackets to ensure access to warm jackets can be found within the community centre free of charge.
The Rotary Club Kirkintilloch posted a thank you to it’s own team and we thank them too!
Our WrapUp scheme is ended and many coats, jackets and warm clothing have been delivered throughout our community a huge effort by club members but special thank yous must go to the wonderfully generous people who helped us achieve so much this year. Thank you
