Help Yourself Hub (HYH) was created following the success of the food share project
Our new Help Yourself Hub Coordinator joined the team, Daryl Jack manages the day to day operations and volunteer drivers to ensure food collections are made. Donations of clothes, toiletries and other new tagged items are stored and organised as part of the HYH and we work in partnership with The Rotary Club Kirkintilloch, Woman’s Aid, Lidl, and other organisations to support our local community.
Items are available at Hillhead Community Centre Kirkintilloch and Auchinairn community centres Bishopbriggs from 10am till 2pm subject to donation availability
The COOP have supplied information about what to expect and this is similar with all our supermarket collections
If you have any spare carrier bags these are always appreciated and can be handed in to Hillhead Community Centre Kirkintilloch.
