Saturday 30th November 2025 Light Up Kirky. All members from GRACE met up at the office in Union Street. We were all encouraged to wear something sparkly which was provided by GRACE. Glittery necklaces various light up wands etc was worn with fun and laughter glowing in the atmosphere, everyone joined in. We were the GRACE A Team.
We all left the hall and made our way to the car park at St David’s Church, where other various groups had congregated. Everyone had made a light up glittery effort and Kirkintilloch main Street was buzzing.
We made our way to Regent Gardens and arrived just as the pipe band were playing. There is something about the bagpipes that fills hearts and minds with happiness and nostalgia.
There were stalls selling various things from crafting to delicious foods from all over the world.
Our GRACE family joined together taking part in singing and dancing and just joining in with the community and part of the ambiance that was all around us. As the saying goes, love was all around. Wishing everyone a beautiful content and happy Christmas to all and all around the Universe.
